Welcome to Camp Brooks!
Lucky Lime
Camp Brooks is an old fishing camp, from way back when, when Fort Walton Beach was known as Camp Walton, and Destin wasn't even a dot on the map. Men would come here and rent these camp cottages, which at that time had no plumbing and no electricity. People would visit to fish and, well, CAMP!
I purchased this amazing property which consists of 7 tiny cottages. I will be have maintained the vintage feel, but added all modern day luxuries. Lucky Lime is currently rented long-term, but should be vacant by summer, and will undergo a beautiful renovation before releasing to the market.
On the lot you will find a collection of authentic Floridian cottages offering quaint accomodations for guests that prefer a unique experience in a downtown setting. Camp Brooks is situated half a mile from the some of the world's most beautiful beaches, sits at the foot of the Destin/Fort Walton Beach bike path, and is a quick boat ride to Crab Island. Boat rentals, fishing, jet ski rentals, a vintage movie theater, downtown dining, nightlife, concerts, markets, and shopping are all just a few steps away.
